Pulsing Intensive/Training - the back

November

2007

with Silke Ziehl

17 - 18 November 2007
Saturday & Sunday, 10am-6pm, £120

Pulsing is a style of massage - through soft rotary movements and rhythmic rocking of all parts of the body it gently releases tensions, feelings and energy, expanding the tissues, nourishing the person, creating spaciousness inside... It is deep Reichian bodywork without being painful, powerfully yet softly affecting the whole body-mind-spirit.

Pulsing is playing with the rhythms of the body and allowing us to reconnect to them: the rhythm of the breath, the heartbeat, peristalsis and movements of the spinal fluid - the in and out of the energy flow in all its many manifestations. It reverberates through all the body rhythms, harmonising them. Gently, we can let go of pain and tension, can expand and open, and reconnect to our inner sources of nourishment and joy.

A Pulsing Intensive allows time for understanding and experiencing the basis of this kind of bodywork, and for getting to know the technique so that it becomes intuitive and can be developed ‘by feel’. I will particularly encourage awareness of bodylanguage and energy pulses; look at expansion and contraction, at how we pulsate in relation to time, space and energy fields; at how we ‘hold’ ourselves in patterns which restrict us (physically, psychologically, spiritually). And we will focus on how we can release those patterns, playing with them, dancing with them, to encourage a free flow of energy – by PULSING.

(For the certificate in Pulsing you need to do a minimum of 8 days, including a front and a back intensive, and show evidence of sufficient understanding and expertise in using this bodywork approach.)

Note that after the first of each intensive (the front, the back) you can join the next ones in the following 2 years at half the fee.
